About Cherokee Rose Chapter

The NCL, Inc. mission is to foster mother-daughter relationships in a philanthropic organization committed to community service, leadership development and cultural experiences.

NCL, Inc., Cherokee Rose Chapter has approximately active 200 members that serve 16 local philanthropies.  Since our inception, Cherokee Rose members have invested over 10,500 hours of service in our community.

At the 2018 National Conference in Long Beach, California, Cherokee Rose won the Innovative Ticktocker Programming Award for their January Cross Over Meetings that focused on the NCL 6 year curriculum.  This award is given annually to the one chapter that demonstrates unique and innovative programs for the Ticktockers of the chapter.

In 2019, Cherokee Rose will graduate its first class of 6 year Ticktockers, members who have completed the entire six year program.  This class will also represent the last of our founding members (ticktockers).

This year, we are excited to focus our chapter on SMILE – Service, Mentorship, Imagination, Leadership and Empowerment.

service from the heart

Each year, NCL, Inc chooses a national philanthropy to serve as our National Initiative. For the 2018-2019 year, we will be working with The American Heart Association focusing on women’s heart health.  The Ticktocker classes will be planning and implementing a Heart Health Fair in mid October.
